The Kentucky women’s basketball team opened the regular season last night and would cruise to a victory in Historic Memorial Coliseum, downing the Morehead State Lady Eagles 75-59.
Clara Strack, the reigning SEC Defensive Player of the Year, finished with 15 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks and three steals on the night.
Tonie Morgan and Amelia Hassett combined for 26 points on the night as well.
Next up on the schedule for the Kentucky women will be Monmouth College.
The Cats take on the Hawks at 6:30pm this Thursday, Nov. 6 in Historic Memorial Coliseum.
