More than 600 pounds of trash has been removed from the Tanglewood Trail thanks to a team of volunteers. The City of Whitesburg says members of Team Rubicon spearheaded the cleanup of the Trail over the weekend, going around the tunnel and backside of the trail to the park and collecting all that garbage. Meanwhile as Spring Cleanup Month continues in Letcher County, residents can still bring most trash to the Transfer Station at no charge, Monday to Saturday, from 9am-2pm, through April 30.
