A West Virginia man wanted for a 2019 murder in Pike County has been arraigned
following his recent capture by U.S. Marshals.
Charles Ray Blevins was arrested in South Carolina on March 31 in connection with the shooting death of Adrian Smith in South Williamson.
Blevins was a suspect right away and had been wanted on several warrants by Kentucky State Police.
WYMT reports the Marshals had considered him a “major case” because he was known to carry firearms and had access to body armor.
At his arraignment Wednesday he was ordered held on $1 million bond.
