The LCEAA Letcher County Boys A Team Tournament consolation and championship game were played Sunday afternoon and heard live here on the Bulldog.
The Whitesburg Yellowjackets are your Letcher County A Team Champions as they won over Cowan 54-41 in the championship game.
Cowan was led in scoring by Porter Breeding with 17, Keaton Maggard had 10, Nehemiah Robinson added 9 and Ryder Fleming put in 4.
Whitesburg’s Mason Boggs led all players with 19, Jaden Wright put in 16, Riley Wright had 7, Caleb Allman with 7 and Dylan Eldridge put in 5.
Arlie Boggs won over Letcher 38-27 in the consolation or third place game.
Letcher was led in scoring by Braylyn Slone with 13, Kaden Eldridge had 7, Levi Hensley with 4 and Conner Collins added 3
Arlie Boggs was led by Logan Adams with 15, Braxton Howard had 13, Gavin Adams put in 7, Brayden McCowan 2 and Colton Holbrook with 1.
