In high school baseball, the Wise Central Warriors scored 10 runs on 6 hits in the top of the 5th inning to beat the Letcher County Central Cougars 13-1 at LCC last night.
The LCC Cougar boys will next play a 10:00am game this Saturday morning against Paintsville at Cordia in the David Melton Memorial Classic.
The Cougars will return home on Tuesday to take on Shelby Valley.
The Jenkins baseball Cavaliers got the 5-4 win over Grundy VA on the road last night.
The Jenkins boys will next play a district game at home against Cordia this Monday at 6:00pm.
