It’s up to 20 years in prison for a Wise County man convicted of drug trafficking.
A federal jury found Rodney Allen Pickett of Coeburn guilty of several drug and gun
charges.
Mountain Top News cites court documents showing in 2022 and 2023 Pickett
bought several pounds of meth weekly from a source and sold it to other dealers and
users including an undercover informant.
The jury found him guilty of five counts related to distributing meth plus three gun charges.
Pickett has reportedly already appealed.
