The 14th Region softball tournament also got underway on Monday with games being played at Perry County Central.
In the two opening round games yesterday, Wolfe County shutout Hazard 6-0 and Estill County beat Knott County Central 10-1.
The other 2 softball region tournament games will be played this evening with Letcher County Central facing Breathitt County at 5:00pm and Perry County Central taking on Powell County at 7:00pm.
We’ll bring you the LCC-Breathitt County softball opening round game at 5:00pm this afternoon from Perry County Central.
Pregame begins at 4:45pm with Greg “Bull” Creech and Dickie Adams on the call.
The softball semifinals will be Thursday evening and the championship game Saturday at 3:00pm all at Perry County Central.
