Letcher County Central High School students may come and pick up class schedules for the 2014-2015 school year the week of July 28 – August 1st.
Students will also have the opportunity to have school pictures taken for the yearbook and also purchase pictures. Picture pricing information will be available to pick up at the school and also will be posted on the school website the week of July 21st for parents to view. Seniors will have a $30 sitting fee for their senior portraits, which includes casual pictures as well as the cap and gown picture. Seniors are asked to not wear green because of the backdrops.
All students will be able to rent a locker for $5 and if they are a student driver they may pick up a parking permit application.

Friday, August 1 from 8:30 am – noon – Freshman Orientation
To help welcome our freshmen and their families to our school, we invite you and your child to attend Freshman Day at Letcher County Central High School on Friday, August 1st, at 8:30 to 12:00 Noon. During the activities on the 1st, students will have an opportunity to meet many of their teachers and classmates. As well, freshmen will take individual student pictures, receive their class schedule, and rent their lockers ($5.00 fee). Buses will run on August 1st… details on routes will be posted on the Letcher Central home page. Students will be served a free lunch at approximately 11:30 a.m. that day with activities concluding with dismissal at 12:00 Noon. Parents will have an opportunity on the 1st to attend a parent information session at 10:30 a.m. in the school auditorium.
