LETCHER COUNTY VETERAN'S MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE

On Memorial Day, this Monday May 27th, we will honor the memory of brave Americans from all walks of life, who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend their nation and preserve our freedom wherever and whenever their country called upon them.

The Letcher County Veterans Museum in downtown Whitesburg will host a Memorial Day Tribute Service this Monday May 27th, Memorial Day. The special event will begin at 1pm at the Veteran's Museum and will feature the firing of the cannon, The National Anthem, 21 gun salute, TAPS and several guest speakers.  It's free and everyone is invited to come be a part of this tribute and pay respect to those who deserve it for giving up their lives for our freedom.  This message from 103.9 The Bulldog WXKQ wishing you a safe Memorial Day Weekend and remember the true meaning of the day!

Friday July 26th at Riverside Park in Whitesburg-BACK TO SCHOOL BASH with Free school supplies
Saturday October 5th at Calvary Campus-Letcher
Friday December 13th Christmas in Our Hometown-Whitesburg Christmas Parade

 

THE TUESDAY MORNING ROUND TABLE ON TV!

You can watch the Tuesday Morning Round Table hosted by Shirley Sexton each week on the Letcher County Government Channel.  The radio show is recorded each Tuesday and airs the following Thursday each week at 9:00am, 1:00pm, 6:00pm and 10:00pm.  Each Round Table show is immediately followed by the Old Fashion Kitchen Show with Shirley Sexton and Grayson Holbrook.  The Letcher County Government Channel is channel 98 on TVS Cable and Intermountain Cable Systems.
