The 2024 Operation Unite Archery State Championships were held in Lexington on Tuesday.
Some of the athletes that performed among the best in the state included Jenkins Cavalier Kimber Collins, who finished in second place with a score of 295 in the individual girls competition.
Three Letcher Central Cougars, Kyla Raglin, Ashlynn Sergent, and Brooke Lucas, finished among the top 20 of the individual girls competition.
The Letcher Central girls team placed fourth in the girls team state competition with a score of 1976.
A list of those who competed at state for Letcher County Central boys were Gavin Brown and Jonah Stidham
For the Letcher County Central girls it was Addy Bowling, Ashley Burke, Ashlynn Sergent, Brooke Lucas, Cassidy Blair, Jody Brock, Kara Stone, Keyara Shepherd, Klayshan Potter, Kyla Raglin, Kylie Williams and Story Scheeler
For Jenkins girls it was Chloe Trivette and Kimber Collins.
