The Mariners have won the first two games in their series with the Reds after a 3-1 win last night in Seattle.
With the loss, the Reds are now 9-8 on the season and still a game and half back of the Pirates and Brewers who are now tied for the lead in the NL Central.
The Reds will try to avoid the sweep with a day game against the Mariners this afternoon.
First pitch is at 4:10pm with pregame at 3:40pm today on Real Country 95.1 WTCW.
The Reds will be off on Thursday and return home to GABP on Friday with a 3 game series against the LA Angels.
