In high school baseball, the Letcher County Central Cougars won big over Pike County Central 10-3 at home last night.
Quentin Williams homered to center field, scoring three runs in the bottom of the third to break the game open for LCC.
Kaleb Slone earned the win for the Cougars. He gave up three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out two and walking five.
The 7-5 Cougars baseball will next play at Lee High in Jonesville VA this Friday at 6:00pm.
The Jenkins baseball Cavaliers are next scheduled to play at Jackson City on Thursday and home against Owsley County on Friday.
