Nathaniel Lowe homered for the fifth time in six games and Andrew Abbott pitched six strong innings as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Colorado Rockies 6-4 on Thursday afternoon to take two of three games in the series.
Cincinnati is 20-11 and off to its best 31-game start since 2006.
The Reds have won 20 games prior to May 1 for the first time in franchise history.
The Reds will begin May with a 7 game, 2 city road trip on Friday night with the first of a three game weekend series against the Pirates in Pittsburgh.
Game times will be 6:45pm tonight, 4:05pm on Saturday and 1:35pm Sunday
