UVA Wise Debuts New Nursing Education Facility

The University of Virginia at Wise has debuted their newly renovated nursing education facility. On Thursday the school held a dedication ceremony for the $16.6 million upgrade to the Don R. Pippin and John C. Wyllie Hall. One senior nursing student tells WYMT there is now a much larger simulation lab allowing several students to work at the same time, and allowing it to feel closer to an actual hospital experience. Officials say they hope to encourage more young healthcare professionals to stay in the area.
