He is survived by his wife: Drucilla Sexton Maggard of Isom; 2 daughters: Tashauna Maggard of Cowan and Rebecca Sexton of Isom; 2 brothers: Jamie Maggard and Tony Maggard both of Cowan; 4 grandchildren a d. 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Joseph Maggard will be held at 2:00pm Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg.

Derenia (Boggs) Bentley, age 60 of Millstone, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She is survived by her parents: James Earl and Ruby Jean Fleming Boggs; her husband: Frankie Bentley; 1 son: Jake Wayne Bentley; 1 daughter: Tonya Gail Bentley; 2 brothers: Dewayne Boggs and Dewryan Boggs; 3 grandchildren; 1 brother in law: Ronnie Maggard; 2 sister in laws: Lisa Anderson and Judy Craft; 2 nephews 2 nieces; special cousin: Elisha Faye Baker.
A Celebration of Life service for Derenia (Boggs) Bentley will be held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Calvary Temple Church at Sandlick with Conard Profitt and Frank Holbrook officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm this evening, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Calvary Temple Church.
Burial will follow in the Bentley Cemetery at Millstone.
